INNOVATION & LEGACY
This year marked a significant milestone for Bialik College, with the Alan Finkel Launch Lab celebrating its first full year of operation.
As a visionary project, the Launch Lab has served as a unifying initiative within our community, bringing together individuals and families with a shared mission: to establish a state-of-the-art facility that inspires innovation and creativity among students.
This bespoke 3D Periodic Table installation, featuring all 118 elements, is more than a scientific display. Families were invited to connect with it in a meaningful way, choosing elements that reflected their stories: honouring loved ones, marking life's Simchas, and creating enduring legacies for future generations.
The 'In Your Element' campaign brought together new donors, next-gen donors, alumni, and long-standing supporters in a shared mission to foster curiosity, creativity, and discovery for future generations of students. The success
of this campaign is a testament to the strength of our Bialik community. Each chosenelementtellsastoryofconnection, commitment, and theincredible things we can achieve when we come together
THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING MEANINGFUL
Every journey begins with a first step, and for the Sherwin family, that step was a meaningful contribution to the Bialik College Foundation.
As they watch their children thrive at Bialik, their commitment to the school's future has only grown stronger. Their first gift is more than just a donation, it's an investment in education, growth and the generations to come.
Here's a snapshot of reasons why they chose to give:
"It was initially the 'fear of missing out' that prompted our purchase of the last remaining element. At that point, I knew little about Germanium. Further exploration revealed that Germanium has particularly useful optical characteristics of special relevance in my vocation as an ophthalmologist. Interestingly, Germanium's unique properties could
be harnessed with the potential to lead to improved diagnostic tools and innovative therapies that can drive better patient outcomes.
We are proud to support the Bialik College Foundation and deeply value the school's commitment to nurturing both academic and personal growth. Watching our children embark on their Bialik journey, we look forward to the many opportunities the school offers them both now and, in the years, to come.
By contributing to the Foundation, we hope to inspire others to join us in supporting this incredible institution, ensuring that future generations continue to benefit.
Just as the periodic table symbolises growth and discovery, Bialik's educational path encourages exploration and learning at every stage. We are honoured to help sustain Bialik's legacy of excellence and are grateful for the chance to contribute to its future success."

Bettie Kornhauser Science Week
A DECADE OF GENEROSITY
Bialik's Science Week is a dynamic and immersive program that brings the wonder of science to life for students across all year levels. From hands on experiments to interactive displays and inspiring guest speakers, this initiative fosters curiosity, creativity and a passion for STEM.
With dedicated funding, Science Week continues to evolve, offering new and exciting opportunities each year. Students engage with scientific challenges, explore emerging technologies and develop critical thinking skills that extend beyond the classroom. The program provides our teachers with the resources needed to plan innovative activities, ensuring that science education remains engaging, relevant and impactful.
This initiative exemplifies the power of sustained support in enriching the learning experience. By making high quality scientific exploration accessible to all students, Science Week nurtures the next generation of problem solvers, innovators, and leaders in STEM.
Thank you to Larry Kornhauser and his family for supporting this program since 2015 in honour of his mother Bettie Kornhauser Z"L who was deeply passionate about education.
